AUK Summer Internship Opportunity

The American University of Kuwait is pleased to offer two graduate (master’s level) internship opportunities for Spring 2019.  Our program received the 2011 NASPA Best Practice Award for International Exchange Programs, a U.S. Department of State grant in 2017 and now celebrates its 11th consecutive year of operation (since 2009).

Placement possibilities exist in eight different professional areas within Student Affairs/Student Services and the selected graduate interns will work primarily with the area director/assistant director.  They will also have the opportunity to work with other professional staff across the university.  Interns will be expected to work 40 hours a week for a 7-8 week period starting  in late May/early June (Summer) depending on agreeable terms and scheduling needs (start and end dates may be flexible).  Students may receive academic credit for the internship if agreed upon between the supervisor and the intern’s college or university.
