The startup PrepToon – which uses interactive simulations to help teachers introduce Math concepts to K12 students, is looking to apply for an SBIR Phase 1 Grant that funds EdTech startups such as PrepToon to evaluate the scientific and technical merit of the concept.
One of main requirements for this is a proposal that should concentrate on Research/Research & Development (R/R&D) that will establish the feasibility of the technological approach, a prerequisite for further ED support in Phase II. Awards are for periods up to 6-months in amounts up to $150,000.
With USC’s faculty’s strong research background, we’re looking to partner with a faculty/researcher @ USC in applying for and working on this grant with us. The grant also funds the researcher’s work.
