USC Support and Advocacy (USCSA) connects members of the USC community with resources to assist them when they need help navigating their academic, professional, and/or personal goals. Students, faculty and staff are provided with tools and resources to help them problem-solve, understand options, and make informed decisions about their USC experience. Position Responsibilities:  Assist and identify student problems/issues and connect them with the appropriate resource(s)  Follow-up on reports from the Department of Public Safety regarding student incidents  Track and input student case notes in Advocate tracking system  Consult with faculty, students, parents and staff on their concerns, issues and referrals  Track and outreach to students impacted by national and international tragedies and disasters  Assist with follow-up on Trojans Care for Trojans reports  Manage caseload of student concerns through in-person and email correspondence  Track and follow-up with On-Call Notifications and refer students to appropriate resources  Assist with professor notification requests  Triage walk-in appointments and phone consultations  Assist Director and Advisors with office projects and cases Position Requirements/Qualifications:  Excellent written and oral communication skills  Ability to listen well, problem-solve  Positive disposition Application: Please submit a cover letter and resume to, Ashley Ramos, M.Ed. ashleyrr@usc.edu
